Sheep egg cozy

Sheep egg cozy, originally uploaded by beka4628.

This little sheep is actually crocheted around the egg (which was a new technique for me).

I couldn't get the bead eye to look quite right so i just left them off... but I think he looks just fine without it.

Pattern can be found at lion brand yarn:

Try and fail.....

DSCN0196, originally uploaded by beka4628.

On Saturday I was sick so I spent most of the day crocheting this bath poof. So on Saturday evening I go to take a shower (using my new poof of course) and realize how awful it really is!! It's like washing with a brick!

So it could just be the type of cotton i used, but I don't recommend crocheted cotton bath poofs. But yes, I'm still using it in hopes that it will get better with use....

I dare to dream. :)

Here is my new piggie! But what should I name him?

Any suggestions?

Crochet Treasury!!!

I finally caved in and got my first treasury spot on etsy!

Check out tomorrow (2/5/2009) to see my baby owls featured.

scrubbies, originally uploaded by beka4628.

Introducing my first ever original design!!!

I'm still perfecting it, but the basic idea is a cotton dish scrubbie on one side and a recycled plastic bag dish scrubbie on the other side.

I will be putting together a pattern in pdf form later once I get some of the kinks worked out.

mouse cat toy

mouse cat toy, originally uploaded by beka4628.

This was my first crochet project! I've given one of these to my friend's cat for a little 'product testing'. I can't wait to hear the results.

The pattern is from the Cozy Crochet Kit by Melissa Leapman.

Kristin's scarf

Kristin's scarf, originally uploaded by beka4628.

I just learned how to crochet in the beginning of January and already I've completed 4 scarves!!! This is my latest one for a co-worker.

You can find the pattern for this scarf at:

Baby Owls

Baby Owls, originally uploaded by beka4628.

The general consensus about these owlets is that they are just way too adorable!

The pattern can be found at:

I made a couple slight changes to the pattern:

1. I didn't have the size E crochet hook, so I used a size F instead.
2. The eyes are a bit bigger that requested.
